Macedonia
Macedonia, or to give it it's correct name, the former Yugoslav Republic of
Macedonia (FYROM) can be found in south eastern Europe. It's bordered by Serbia,
Albania, Greece and Bulgaria. Macedonia is one of the former regions of
Yugoslavia. The capital is Skopje which is in the north of Macedonia.
The native language is Macedonia - English is not widely spoken..
The local currency is the Macedonian Denar (currency code - MKD) - £12 is roughly 1,000
Denar.

Skopje Alexander the Great Airport is located about
10 miles south of the capital. A taxi to the centre of Skopje will cost
about 600 - 1000 Denars - about £8 - £12.
There are no direct flights between the UK and Macedonia, so most people seem
to be heading for Greece then travelling in either by train or bus.
We've not played Macedonia at football before.
Macedonia's home games are played at the
City Stadium Skopje. It has a
capacity of around 18,000.
